Shower Remodeling in Somerville, NJ

Shower Remodeling in Somerville, NJ

For this shower remodeling project in Somerville, NJ, the homeowner wanted to refresh two bathrooms without replacing existing fixtures. They reached out to DeMarco Flooring, Tile & Renovations for our reputation in custom shower remodeling and precise tile craftsmanship. The goal was to elevate both spaces with modern tile design, durability, and attention to detail—all within the homeowner’s budget.

Dual Bathroom Tile Remodel with Classic Subway Style

In both bathrooms, our team installed white subway tile shower walls, a timeless and clean look that brightens each space. To enhance visual depth, we added a coordinating accent strip, creating a refined contrast that complements the overall design.

Each shower remodel included a custom-built niche for convenient storage of shampoo and toiletries. To give the tilework a professional finish, we framed each niche with Schluter Quadec Tile Edge Trim—a durable metal edge that provides both protection and a sleek, contemporary style.

Functional Upgrades with Thoughtful Details

During this Somerville, NJ shower renovation, we also installed corner shelves in both showers for added storage and functionality. The homeowner chose to keep the existing bathtubs, and our craftsmen seamlessly integrated the new tilework around them for a cohesive, polished result.

This approach allowed the homeowner to achieve a modern shower remodel while preserving existing fixtures and keeping the project efficient and cost-effective.
