Fireplace Tile Installation in Somerville, NJ

Fireplace Tile Installation in Somerville, NJ

DeMarco Flooring, Tile & Renovations completed a fireplace tile installation in Somerville, NJ as part of a master bedroom remodel, transforming the space into a warm, elegant retreat. The homeowner wanted a custom fireplace surround that combined mirrored and terracotta tiles for a distinctive, upscale look.

Drawing on years of specialty tile and stonework, DeMarco delivered a refined, high-end finish that immediately became the focal point of the room.

Custom Fireplace Surround with Mirrored and Terracotta Tile

The project centered on creating a fireplace surround that balanced texture, craftsmanship, and visual impact. The main feature was a striking mirrored tile panel, designed to reflect light and enhance the room’s brightness while adding a modern, luxurious touch.

Surrounding the centerpiece, our team installed 4x4 subway-style terracotta tiles that introduced natural warmth and earthy color. These handmade tiles were thicker than standard tile materials, requiring precise spacing and alignment for a seamless appearance.

Precision Installation and Expert Craftsmanship

The existing fireplace wall presented uneven and slightly bowed surfaces—an installation challenge that required exact measurements and expert tile setting. DeMarco’s skilled craftsmen corrected these inconsistencies and achieved perfectly straight, plumb lines across the fireplace surround.

That level of precision is what made the fireplace tile installation read flawlessly once it was finished.

Elegant Results with Lasting Appeal

The finished fireplace surround transformed the master bedroom into a sophisticated space featuring texture, warmth, and visual depth. The combination of mirrored tile and terracotta accents created a unique blend of old-world charm and modern elegance.

The homeowner was thrilled with the final result—particularly with how the custom tile materials were handled and how seamlessly they integrated into the existing design.
