Commercial Tile Installation Project – Office Break Rooms, Slate Flooring, Restroom Remodel & Elevator Surround

This multi-phase commercial tile project showcases DeMarco’s expertise across a variety of materials, patterns, and high-end finishes tailored to both functional and design-forward commercial environments.

Office Break Room Backsplashes

We began with custom tile installations in three office break rooms, each with its own distinct aesthetic:

• In the main break room, we installed a ceramic large-format elongated hexagon tile, also known as picket tile. Its narrow, stretched hexagon shape delivers a sleek, modern geometric pattern—ideal for clean, contemporary workspaces.
• The second break room received a glass mosaic backsplash in a stacked linear pattern, using narrow vertical tiles in bold hues of blue, black, and silver. The glossy finish creates visual depth and reflects light beautifully.
• In the third kitchenette, we installed glossy glass square tiles in a precise grid layout. These 3x3 or 4x4 inch tiles provide a high-shine, minimalist surface perfect for small commercial spaces.

Natural Slate Closet Flooring

We also installed natural multicolor slate tile flooring in a transitional closet area between an office and conference room. This rugged, modular-pattern floor blends earthy tones like rust, brown, gray, and gold, and features a cleft texture that enhances slip resistance. The slate offers warmth and durability, ideal for high-traffic zones.

Commercial Restroom Remodel

In a separate commercial restroom renovation, DeMarco installed:

• Large-format Calacatta-look porcelain tiles on the shower walls in a horizontal running bond pattern
• A textured white shower pan with subtle geometric detailing
• Charcoal gray porcelain floor tiles with a natural concrete or stone appearance, arranged in a staggered layout

The result is a clean, upscale space with the luxurious look of marble and the durability of porcelain—ideal for commercial restrooms requiring both style and performance.

Elevator Surround with Porcelain Slab

To complete the project, we installed large-format porcelain slab tile around the elevator in the building’s lobby. These polished Calacatta marble-look panels offer a dramatic, high-end aesthetic with bold veining and bookmatched visual flow. The sleek installation and minimal grout lines deliver an elegant, modern centerpiece that sets the tone for the space.
