Bathroom Remodeling in Stewartsville, NJ

DeMarco Flooring, Tile & Renovations completed a bathroom remodeling project in Stewartsville, NJ, transforming an outdated space into a clean, modern, and functional retreat. The renovation began with a full demolition down to the wall studs, allowing our team to rebuild the bathroom from the ground up with precision and care.

From Tub to Custom Walk-In Shower

At the homeowner’s request, the existing bathtub was removed and replaced with a spacious walk-in shower, dramatically improving both accessibility and aesthetics. Inside the shower, DeMarco installed large-format 12x24 porcelain tiles for a sleek, contemporary look. The same tile was used on the bathroom floor, creating a seamless and cohesive design throughout.

The shower ceiling was fully tiled for a polished finish and fitted with two integrated LED lights to brighten the space. Additional features include a custom-built bench, a recessed niche for storage, and a tempered glass barn-style shower door that adds both style and durability.

Upgraded Walls, Fixtures, and Finishes

To create a durable yet classic aesthetic, DeMarco finished the bathroom walls halfway up with porcelain subway tile, blending traditional charm with modern practicality. A new vanity, modern toilet, and large LED mirror were installed, along with an LED medicine cabinet that provides extra lighting and hidden storage.

For added comfort, a heated towel bar was mounted on reinforced wall blocking installed during framing, ensuring long-term stability and safety.
