This bathroom remodel began with a full demolition down to the wall studs. All existing sheetrock had to be removed due to the heavy textured paint, allowing for a clean, smooth foundation for the renovation. At the homeowner’s request, we converted the existing bathtub into a spacious walk-in shower, completely transforming the functionality and style of the space.
To support key features, we installed additional 2x4 blocking within the walls—ensuring secure installation of a tempered glass barn-style shower door, a heated towel bar, and a large LED mirror. Inside the shower, we used large-format 12x24 porcelain tiles for a sleek look, and continued the same tile on the bathroom floor for a cohesive design. The walls were finished with classic porcelain subway tile installed halfway up for added durability and visual appeal.
The shower area includes a custom-built bench, a recessed niche for storage, and—at the client’s request—a fully tiled ceiling with two integrated LED lights for a clean, well-lit space. We also installed a new vanity, a modern toilet, and both a large LED mirror and an LED medicine cabinet, providing ample lighting and smart storage.
To bring the space up to modern standards, our licensed electrician added new outlets with integrated USB-A and USB-C ports for convenient device charging. All plumbing was completed by our licensed plumber, ensuring reliable performance and code compliance. The remodel was completed with fresh paint on the walls and ceiling, tying together a clean, contemporary finish.
