Bathroom Remodel & Porcelain Wood-Look Plank Tile

This project began with a full demolition of the existing floors and walls, clearing the way for a complete transformation. The original corner-style fiberglass jetted tub was removed, and we rerouted the plumbing to accommodate a beautiful new free-standing soaking tub, giving the bathroom a modern, open feel.

To enhance comfort, we installed a Schluter heated floor system beneath porcelain wood-look plank tile, bringing both warmth and style to the space. At the client’s request, we expanded the shower area, which required resizing the entrance to the adjacent toilet room. We also added a new electrical outlet behind the newly installed toilet to support modern fixtures.

Inside the custom shower, we constructed a half wall featuring a built-in niche for storage and a bench for added convenience. A corner shelf was also added for functionality. Our plumber installed high-end Moen fixtures, including four body jets for a luxurious spa-like experience. Above, we fitted a water-resistant LED light into the ceiling—also fully tiled per the client’s unique request.

The upgrade continued with the installation of a new vanity topped with a quartz countertop, complemented by a picture mirror and modern overhead lighting. A decorative accent tile strip was carefully placed around the entire room and also served as the backsplash behind the vanity for a cohesive, elegant finish.

One of the project’s more complex challenges involved removing a 45-degree corner wall and safely relocating the electrical wiring hidden within. Our team handled it seamlessly, ensuring both safety and a clean design outcome.
