Bathroom Remodel in Charlotte, NC

Bathroom Remodeling in Charlotte, NC

DeMarco Flooring, Tile & Renovations completed a bathroom remodeling project in Charlotte, NC, transforming a dated space into a clean, modern retreat. The renovation featured high-end materials, expert craftsmanship, and thoughtful upgrades designed for long-term comfort and durability.

Full Demolition and Structural Preparation

We began with a complete demolition to create a blank canvas for the remodel. New cement backer board was installed to provide a strong foundation for the tilework, ensuring lasting performance. All plumbing was replaced to meet current standards and deliver reliable functionality for years to come.

The shower area was expertly waterproofed, preventing moisture intrusion and ensuring long-term integrity—a crucial step in any professional bathroom remodeling project.

Porcelain and Mosaic Tile Installation

The new walk-in shower was finished with elegant porcelain wall tile, chosen for its refined look and easy maintenance. On the floor, we installed a detailed mosaic tile pattern, creating texture, depth, and visual interest while enhancing slip resistance.

A decorative accent strip along the shower wall ties the design together and adds an elevated, custom touch. To complete the look, we installed a tempered glass barn-style shower door—a modern, space-saving feature that provides both function and style.

Comfort, Ventilation, and Finishing Details

To enhance comfort and air quality, we added a high-powered, ultra-quiet exhaust fan. A custom-built shower niche provides convenient, integrated storage while maintaining the clean, streamlined aesthetic of the shower.

The project was finished with fresh paint throughout the bathroom and the installation of modern towel bars, bringing the entire space together into a cohesive, elegant design.
