Master Bathroom Remodel with Accessible Shower – High-Impact Transformation
This master bathroom remodel was designed to dramatically improve both functionality and visual appeal. The original layout featured a small vanity and a compact 3x3 foot shower, which felt cramped and inefficient. To maximize space, we removed an adjacent wall and relocated the shower to the area previously occupied by a cedar closet—completely reconfiguring the layout to better suit the homeowner’s needs.
This redesign required extensive plumbing work, including the rerouting of water lines to support the new shower location. The updated walk-in shower was built with ADA-compliant grab bars and a built-in bench seat, making it handicap-accessible and safe for aging-in-place. A custom shower niche was also installed to provide convenient storage with a clean, integrated look.
To enhance comfort and air circulation, we added a new ceiling-mounted exhaust fan with an LED light. The bathroom was further upgraded with a new toilet, modern vanity, matching mirrors, and wall sconces, bringing both style and function to the space. We also repainted the entire bathroom, giving it a fresh, cohesive finish.
For added storage and organization, we built custom pantry-style shelving complete with integrated lighting—perfect for towels, toiletries, and decorative accents. The bathroom floor was finished with a three-pattern style porcelain tile, creating visual interest and durability underfoot.
This remodel showcases DeMarco’s ability to deliver custom bathroom renovations that are not only beautiful but also practical, accessible, and tailored to our clients’ unique needs.
