Dual Bathroom Remodel – Mother/Daughter Curbless Shower Project

This project involved remodeling two showers as part of a shared mother/daughter suite, with a focus on accessibility, comfort, and modern design.

One of the key highlights was the creation of a curbless shower entry, providing a seamless and accessible transition from the bathroom floor into the shower—ideal for long-term usability. To achieve this, we carefully modified the floor structure, cutting into the existing joists to recess the shower pan and ensure proper drainage while maintaining structural integrity.

The shower walls were finished with 24x24 porcelain tiles in a clean octagon layout, delivering a bold and timeless aesthetic. A large recessed niche was installed on the back wall of the shower, offering ample storage with a sleek, integrated look.

The bathroom floor was upgraded with a Schluter heated floor system, bringing added comfort underfoot. Over that, we installed porcelain wood-look plank tile, combining warmth, durability, and visual appeal.

This dual renovation showcases DeMarco’s ability to blend form, function, and accessibility—tailoring each project to meet the unique needs of the homeowner while delivering high-end results.
