Basement Remodeling in Stewartsville, NJ

After a major water leak caused extensive damage to a home in Stewartsville, NJ, the homeowner turned to DeMarco Flooring, Tile & Renovations for a complete basement remodeling and restoration project. Floors, walls, and ceilings were severely affected, requiring a full rebuild to return the basement to a clean, comfortable, and fully functional living space.

Full Basement Restoration After Water Damage

DeMarco began by removing all compromised materials and installing new sheetrock throughout the basement walls and ceilings. Our team handled taping, spackling, and precision painting to ensure a smooth, professional finish. Every surface was restored to its pre-damage condition—or better.

To complete the renovation, we installed premium vinyl flooring, an excellent choice for basement environments thanks to its water resistance, durability, and low maintenance. All baseboards were refinished with new quarter round molding, giving the space a fresh, polished appearance.

Modern Basement Design and Finishing Touches

This Stewartsville, NJ basement remodel was more than a simple repair—it became a full transformation. The homeowner wanted a modern, functional space for family use and entertainment. We installed a 75-inch OLED television, creating a dedicated entertainment area, and applied a fresh coat of paint across all rooms for a bright, cohesive look.

In the basement bathroom, our experts deep-cleaned and restored the tile flooring, refinishing the grout to renew its color and durability. These finishing details tied the whole project together, delivering a refreshed and inviting atmosphere.
